I’ve owned an X-Theme lic for almost 2 yrs. If I use the theme for a current project and I want 12 months of support from now…

New theme $65 + 6 month support extension $19.88 = $84.88

Extend 6 months support on existing license $46.38 x 2 = $92.76

Is that right? In 9 years that I’ve been building WordPress, I never saw a theme that gets more expensive to buy support once you make the initial investment. Please let me know. Regards,

Thanks for writing in! Currently there is no restriction as such, however it will help us to provide continues support whenever you make a new purchase. Envato did roll out an update to their item support policy, however your Themeco account will stay active even after the extended support period as many customers use the forums for interactions beyond support (and soon to be more forums and places of discussion) such as licensing, etc. You can find more info on their new policy here (http://themeforest.net/page/item_support_policy?_ga=1.161216894.2139210772.1407479998)

To sum it up, basically, if you buy a regular license, you will be able to have a support since the first day you bought X til you want use X theme.
