Topic: New editor Cornerstone and old visual editor, can they be active together?

I just converted my site from a Love Travel template” to X Theme template. I have all sorts of issues with the old content being modified by the Visual Editor. How do I fix this without opening up 100 pages? Looks like the empty spaces I added to the visual editor has left code inserted. I also have lost my main images for every page. Hi there,

Thanks for posting in.

They can be active together, but you can’t edit same content with both. They are not cross compatible. If you like to use cornerstone, then you’ll have to re-compose your content within cornerstone.

You’re getting VC shortcodes here http://iwanttotravelto.com/backup/xcaret-amusement-theme-park-cancun-riviera-maya-mexico/ because you don’t have active visual composer. Again, you should re-compose your content if you wish to use cornerstone.

Once I have all my content using Corner stone do I need Visual Composer. Can I delete that plugin?

Yes, you can delete it as long as you’re not using it from other pages.
