Hi, I would like to set up automatic updates for my website http://212studios.online/ I recently changed the domain from BoxTurtleNation.com. X theme still thinks I’m using the old domain so I can’t validate and set up automatic updates. Can I get some help please? 🙂

Thanks for writing in! You should be able to update Cornerstone if you have X license validated.
Please do the following:
1] Please go to X Addons > Home and revoke the validation.
2] Please login to your account and revoke the license. https://community.theme.co/my-account/
3] After you have revoke the license, you need to re assign the license again to your site using this url: https://www.your-domain.com/. You have to make sure that url you just assign is the same as the one you have in your settings, Settings > General > Site Address
4] Go back to X Addons > Home again, and insert the license again.Hope this helps.

It’s not showing it’s validated on the site. When I log in and enter the API key it just says it’s being used on another site. But it’s the same site just different domain.

If you already assign the license to your url, please go to X Addons > Product Validations. You need to insert the license code in the API key field. The license code will work as a replacement for the API key. once validated, you need to update X. If still you are having some troubles, please update X manually by uploading the files using ftp. (See manual updates section here: https://community.theme.co/kb/updating-your-theme-and-plugins/). You can get the latest version of X from your dashboard (https://community.theme.co/dashboard/) or by downloading in from Theme Forest downloads section.

Thank you for your response. I would really rather not have to update manually as I don’t want to mess anything up. I entered my license key and this is what it said. (On my profile here it is still linked to my old domain does that matter? How do I change it?)

Hello There,
Thanks for providing the login credentials. To save your from trouble, I have updated your X and Cornerstone. I also made sure that it is validated. You should be able to install any bundled plugins now.

Thank you so much! Helps a lot. 🙂 Even fixed the issue I was having with the “yep” reset page when adding in big templates etc.
