LarchmontBlvdParticipantHi. All my slides containing navigational objects (right/left arrows, X…) have suddenly vanished. How do I fix this?
Everything was working fine until I moved the site from temp hosting to new domain.Thank you

ChristopherModeratorHi there,
Pleas enable arrows under slider’s settings, please see the attachment.
Hope it helps.

LarchmontBlvdParticipantI’m not using the nav arrows in the slider settings. I’m using arrows & other symbols from the Slider Revolution Object Library which are embedded into the slides and animated.
I disabled all plugins and the issue is still present. Take a look at attached screenshots. When I preview the slide in Slider Revolution the svg’s are gone.
Photo #1 – Slider Preview
Photo #2 – Look at timeline and missing SVG
Photo #3 – There is an outline of the svg but not the “X” (object to close window)
Thank you

RadModeratorHi there,
Are you trying to create your own navigation? Why not use the built-in navigation? I also checked and your navigation has no content/arrow hence, it will not really display the arrow. Hence, please edit those SVG objects and re-assign the arrow icon, I did that and the arrow is displayed. But I removed it again so you could re-add them as I’m not sure which arrow, there are many of them.
Thanks!

LarchmontBlvdParticipantI created my own navigation using the icons found in the Object Library of Slider Revolution. I didn’t use the built-in navigation since the icons (SVG) are animated.
It appears there is a bug in Slider Revolution. All my slides were fine before I moved the site to new IP address. I took your advise and re-assigned the icons. All is back to normal. Thank you

LarchmontBlvdParticipantHey there. I reached out to Slider Revolution and found out the correct way fix this problem. Re-assigning the missing icons will not fix the issue. Anytime you move a site from a local host to a live site (or from one domain to another) you need to replace the URL’s in the slider settings. Since I didn’t do this, the objects in my slide didn’t transfer and appeared corrupted.
Per tech support:
“The best way to transfer slider from one domain to another is via slider import export. If you just make a file /domain transfer so each path exist in slider will not changed until you manually do so. But If you have exported slider from previous domain and imported to new domain so all slider path will be changed according in import process.
In this situation, you can replace old domain to new domain using Replace option https://www.themepunch.com/revslider-doc/import-export-replace/#replace”.

RadModeratorHi there,
Re-assigning should do since the SVG objects and icons are still there since it’s part of Revslider assets. But yes, changing the URL is very important after moving from one domain to another. But I don’t see any relation to the URL issue within the icon since it’s displaying okay when I added it.
Thanks.
