I have experienced the site going to a page that is not selected in the Settings as the front page. This happens sometimes when you first go to the site expecting the homepage and other times when you select a page from the menu. It always goes to the same page when this happens and it is the About Us page. It navigates to this page but the styling never fully loads and there is not option to scroll. It is really weird…it does not happen all the time and never goes to another page. I have attached a screenshot of what I see when it happens and a link to the actual page as it is when it works correctly.

I am perplexed and the client is nervous. he brought it to me when they were reviewing the progress of the development.

I forgot about another issue I was having in IE. I went to go to the site in Internet Explorer (11.0.96) and it was doing what I previously explained every time I tried to navigate to any page. Check the url in the address bar in the screenshot. I also tested now in Safari (5.1.7) and Chrome (56.0.2924.87) and it is happening in these browsers as well.

Additional issue in Safari – The side column has projects listed and the thumbnails in the project teasers in Safari (5.1.7) are not sizing correctly.

Hi there,

It’s not sizing and responding correctly is because of this custom CSS.

html, body {
    overflow: hidden !important;
    height: 100% !important;
    background: none;
}

Please remove it. And about the first issue, it’s due to X under construction plugin and cache. It’s currently set to About us page. I deactivated it and activated again and it’s now working correctly. The page now displays their content.

I am not seeing the custom CSS mentioned above in the site’s customizer??? This is still an issue in Safari.

I also noticed the text in the body and the post meta info is barely readable.

Please advise. Thank you.

The weak text visibility is in Safari only. I removed the meta info but still see the body font as very weak to read.

Hi there,

Looks like the CSS was part of the cache which is cleared by deactivating/activating the plugin. They are not resizing on my browsers.

Please clear your safari browser too.

I don’t see post meta from your site, but I do see text excerpt is a bit unreadable. Please add this custom CSS as well,

color: #888;
}
