DigitalGorillaParticipantHi, I will try to write this with the least amount of anger possible. I am using Theme X and started with the agency demo. I was 99% done, went to make a last min change to the rev slider at the top and the slider deleted itself and would not come back, than my website reset back to the default agency demo minus the slider. My week of work was for nothing!
I had to do custom code to have a section for client logos since apparently Theme X can’t do something as simple as have logos in a row auto sliding/ rotating through. How do I get my work back and avoid this kind of disaster for any future changes??????
for all this theme offers it sure lacks some extreme basic, imagine a shoe company who made a shoe but oh wait you can’t tie or strap your feet in… oops

RupokMemberHi there,
It sounds unusual and we never heard something like this. If you save your changes, a theme can’t revert the changes by any means unless you import new demo or any backup restored from your hosting. The best possibility is something was reverted from your hosting end and you lost your works. Just keep in mind such thing can not be occur by a theme. So you can contact your hosting provider to see if they find any log for the file changes.
Hope this make sense.

DigitalGorillaParticipantHi, it turns out the demo content duplicated itself and was using the duplicated posts and pages instead of what I worked on (not sure why), the rev slider i made was gone but everything else was found, just odd, waiting to hear if it was a server error on my hosting side.
Side question, if i want to add a link to a text or button that opens my email in imail or outlook etc what short code do I have to use and where do I paste it?February 22, 2017 at 11:12 pm #1382395
RupokMemberHey there,
Thanks for updating. I guess the demo was imported again somehow. To add email link to a button, you can use this within Text Element :
<a href="mailto:youremail@yourdomain.com">[button type="transparent" shape="square" size="mini" href="#example" title="Example"]Square Button[/button]</a>Button shortcodes are here – http://demo.theme.co/integrity-1/shortcodes/buttons/
You can also add a button element and use
mailto:youremail@yourdomain.comas HREF value – http://prntscr.com/ecak8yCheers!
