    Hi there,

Thanks for writing in! It seems there is about a second wait time before anything loads then, the rest of the time is due to large images.

You can check pingdom tools to see which images are in question:

You can try something like https://kraken.io/web-interface to compress your images.

Regarding placeholders showing up on tablet view. I am assuming you imported a demo and changed the images on the desktop view. X/Cornerstone section and row elements have a visibility option called “Hide based on screen width”. This option allows you to create multiple layouts and hide them based on screen width. For example, you want your site to look a certain way on desktop view and differently on mobile.

While the site will respond responsively, there are times where you would like more control. One such example is when you have sections that have an image on the left content on the right. Then your next row is the opposite with content on the left and image on the right. When on mobile the columns stack on top of each other, but it would look awkward having to content blocks in the middle and images on both ends. In most cases, you would want an image, then content, then an image, then content.

Therefore, you can use visibility options to correct the above issue by creating a separate layout for mobile.

    Hope this helps – thanks!
