Please help!
My website- when I type it in on my iphone and my Fire tablet will not show up because a creepy girls webcam site takes it over (meendo.com)My site works fine on my browser. I have read so many forum posts and can not find the solution.
The other 2 websites I have created (trhough squarespace and cargo collective) have never had this issue.
I have contacted bluehost- my web hosting- twice and after longs chats- they said that the problem is a malicious code. They said it is somewhere in my theme design.my website is creative-sunshine-inc.com
Please help!!!

Provided credentials don’t work, please check.
This could be related to one of your plugins, please try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
Please check .htaccess file as well and make sure you don’t set any redirect.
Hope it helps.
June 14, 2016 at 12:16 pm #1041732Thanks-
I have been reading up on the .htaccess and I have to admit the more I read the more I am confused.
1. Where is the htaccess file that I need to find? (seems there are several?)
2. When I find it- what should I do?
3. What is the redirect?Thanks!
Susan
June 14, 2016 at 4:07 pm #1042137Hi Susan,
The .htaccess file is in the root directory of your WordPress installation that you can find when you login through FTP. When you find it, you can check if there is a code added to it that is causing the redirection.
But before that, it would be better if you test for plugin conflict first. If it doesn’t fix the issue, kindly provide us with the correct login details to your admin section and FTP as well so we could check it for you.
Thank you.

Looks like It is your php configuration backup file. Please don’t delete.
You can check the contents of this file /public_html/.htaccess
Kindly note that this particular customization request is outside the scope of our support as this is not related to an issue with the theme and instead has to do with your website being hacked. As such, you will need to investigate this particular issue on your own or seek help from a developer should you not feel comfortable making these changes yourself. If you have any further questions about the theme, we are more than happy to provide you with assistance on these inquiries.
Thank you for your understanding.
June 15, 2016 at 4:51 pm #1044042Hi- well is searching again for answers…
I have done the scans and there seems to be no issues.I found a post where a person said that the theme caused it.
The solution was ” Please download a fresh copy of Xtheme package on themeforest. And install it on your site. Make sure you delete the old X theme folder and x-shortcodes plugins on /wp-content/plugins/ directory.”1. Is this a valid solution?
2. Will this destroy and screw up what I have done?creative-sunshine-inc.com
June 15, 2016 at 10:24 pm #1044491Hi There,
#1 That should work if the cause of the issue is really is the Theme.
#2 It should not if you do it via FTP, but we still strongly recommend to backup the current Theme by downloading it before deleting.I’ve like to check your .htaccess file first, but did not saw your WordPress files with the FTP credentials you provided above.
I’m only seeing this folders with no sign of WordPress installation on it. Please confirm.
Thanks.
