    Hi Themeco!

Im’m creating a new webstore for a customer which needs a good overview since he has a lot of products.
We are inspired by the functionality of this example: http://www.winkelstraat.nl/
On that website you’ll see pictures on the homepage. When you’ll click on one of them you will be forwarded to a categorized shop page where you only can buy shoes, or to a page where you can only buy t-shirts.

On the X theme I only see a functionality for creating one shop page with all products.
Can you point me in a direction on how to achieve a categorized store where we can put different products on separate pages?
A theme I purchased some years ago had the functionality to use the unique SKU codes in a column. Is that something that’s possible here as well?

    Sincerely,
    Roamstar

    Hi Roamstar,

    Thanks for writing in!

As WooCommerce is a 3rd party plugin, X only provides support for it’s compatibility. So questions related to it’s functionality or how a certain feature works falls outside the scope of support we can offer. However, I’ll be happy to point you in the right direction.

So, what you are trying to achieve is easily possible with using WooCommerce categories. Please review this: http://wordpress.stackexchange.com/questions/101608/how-to-create-separate-shop-pages-in-woocommerce-for-each-product-category, i.e., you can create as many categories as you like.

This is the WooCommerce documentation for categories, tags and product attributes: http://docs.woothemes.com/document/managing-product-taxonomies/

Apart from that, I’d highly recommend you to review WooCommerce documentation as it covers almost every topic in WooCommerce: http://docs.woothemes.com/documentation/plugins/woocommerce/

    Hope this helps. 🙂

    Thank you.
