    Hi,

I have a question – is there any way to validate multiple development environments? I use dev-[sitename]… for all of my development work, test-[sitename]… for my client to review work and then my live domain for production code. I would prefer to be able to validate both dev and test but can only find an option to validate a single development environment. Please let me know!

    Hi there,

Thanks for writing in! If those are different subdomains then it’s not possible to validate them with single license. But it would be possible if you use sub folders like dev.[site-name].com/test1, dev.[site-name].com/test2 and so on.

    Cheers!

    Hello There,

Thanks for writing in! Please be advised that for one single license, you can only use it to validate the staging and the live site at the same time. You can not use it more than the two sites. If there is a need to validate another site, you will have to revoke and re assign the license code to another site. Please follow these steps in revoking and revalidation of the site:
1] Please go to X Addons > Home and revoke the validation (https://s3.amazonaws.com/community-themeco/app/uploads/2016/04/17110514/Capture53.jpg).
2] Please login to your account and revoke the license.
3] After you have revoke the license, you need to re assign the license again to your site using this url: https://www.example.com/. You have to make sure that url you just assign is the same as the one you have in your settings, Settings > General > Site Address
4] Go back to X Addons > Home again, and insert the license again.

And please review the changes that we made on how you are going to validated your X theme because we made a big change in the process. Please check it out here: https://community.theme.co/kb/product-validation/

    Hope this explains it briefly.
