Hi there,
My development site for some reason has stopped scrolling when using the mouse wheel. I can manually scroll the page but for some reason when I use the mouse wheel it scrolls a few pixels and then stops and wont scroll any further.
I tried turning off smooth scrolling but they made no difference. I cant give you access until later next week because it’s not live yet.
Do you have any ideas in the meantime please?
Thanks

Thanks for writing in!
It seems your site is currently in under construction mode, would you mind disabling it or providing us with your WordPress login credentials so that we can take a closer look? Don’t forget to select Set as private reply to ensure your data remains hidden from other users.
Thanks!

Thanks for writing back!
In this case, you could try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
Let us know how it goes. Thanks!

November 10, 2015 at 6:10 am #659438Hi there,
I see JS error in your site, do you have any facebook script in your site? if so please remove it and check if it solves the issue.
You can also try to activate parent theme and check your site again.
Let us know how it goes.
November 10, 2015 at 6:22 am #659451Hi there,
There is a facebook script in the footer. The site worked with this before the issue occurred so I don’t think it’s this. None the less I have removed the facebook code and it did not solve the problem.
Thanks
November 10, 2015 at 8:38 am #659622Hi there,
Thanks for writing back, I’ve checked all pages on your site, in both Chrome and Firefox and could scroll without any issues.
Do you still have a issue your end? Could you let me know what browser version your using please?
Thank you!
November 10, 2015 at 9:07 am #659654Hi there,
Yes I am still getting the issue. I am using the latest version of Chrome. I only get the issue on the website itself. When I am in the dashboard for WordPress then I do not get the issue.
Thanks
November 10, 2015 at 12:25 pm #659929Hi again,
Thanks for getting back to us, I disabled X – Smooth Scroll plugin and now your website is scrolling fine. There could be a conflict of third party plugin with X – Smooth Scroll plugin, you can disable all plugins and check for the plugin conflict.
Cheers!
