    Hi,

Is there a way for me to improve finger scrolling on mobile devices? Specifically, the page seems to lock (i.e. not scroll at all) if my finger starts atop an ad or embedded video on one of my posts while trying to scroll. Try, for example, this post: http://trackworthy.com/porsches-sweet-spot-2017-porsche-911-gts/

On a mobile device (I’m using and iPhone 7), try scrolling down on that page with your finger starting on the first embedded YouTube video.

Please let me know if there’s anything I can do to make this smoother…

    Thanks!

    Hey there,

This doesn’t happen on my end. Also there is no setting for this so tweaking the sensitivity to meet your needs would require custom development which is outside the scope of our support. You might want to contact our trusted partners who caters X setup and customization needs. Please see https://community.theme.co/custom-development/

    Thanks.

Please see the example video here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/vwk8tsf0orfinnj/Scrolling%20problem.mov?dl=0.

Not sure why it’s not happening on your end — it’s a problem that many of our users have complained about, and it is evident on all mobile devices that I’ve tested. To be clear, this isn’t a matter of “tweaking sensitivity;” this seems to be a problem with the theme, and it doesn’t seem fair that we have to pay extra to deal with it…

    Hi there,

I have just checked with mobile device and I don’t see such issue and there is nothing that might cause this. And no one ever reported such issue with the theme, you can search on the forum for older issues. However as it’s only causing when you are touching and scrolling over the YouTube, I guess it’s because there is tap action (as the video will play on tap) and it might interfering for some mobile browsers.

    Thanks!
