Hi, on a normal website (www.financeplus.bpr.nu)
I have a menu in the nav bar.
It has like 5 menu items, where a few have submenu items when you hover over the menu item (it expands like normal)
Now, if you press the 5 menu items – so no submenu item – it leads you to a section on the homepage.
But if you hover over the menu, it expands and shows the submenu items – and you can choose a submenu item, it will lead you to another page.
So far, so good. Like intended.

Now, on a mobile hovering over a menu item doesn’t expand it as we know. So you’ll have to press a menu item, to expand to the submenu item. But when you press it, the menu item leads you to the section on the page. So you’ll never get to see the expanded menu with the submenu items. And you can never acces the submenu.
    Is there a way, to
    – at first press menu item in mobile mode – it doesn’t go to the section, only by the 2nd time
    – or skip the sections in mobile mode
    – or attach another menu in mobile mode
    ?

I couldn’t find anyone with the same problem 🙁

    HI there,

You could try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

In case the issue persists, would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:

    – Link to your site
    – WordPress Admin username / password
    – FTP credentials

A plugin issue? Really? I would say it’s logical – as you have to press on the menu when you are on a mobile device, as there is no hover possible on a mobile, so thereby you will activate the #go to section function. So then it scrolls down and the menu dispappears. Doesn’t seem a plugin thing 2 me. But ok, I’ll try (?).

I see. That is the behavior of a simple menu which is the case in X Menu.

You will need to use UberMenu for this as it has mobile menu options like disabling the parent menu link and opening the sub-menu only.

For more details, please see https://community.theme.co/kb/integrated-plugins-ubermenu/

    Thanks.

Thanks. Ok, I can dive into that: but just want to make sure: Can I still keep the looks etc. like in Theme X? I don’t want a row under my logo in full width – just want to keep it as it is at the moment. So before I dive into ubermenu, can you answer that one?

    Hi there,

Please set ‘Menu Bar Alignment’ under Customize -> Ubermenu -> Menubar.

Let us know if you have further question.
