Hi

I have the following video on my home page using revolution slider but on mobile the video does not play or no image shows please can you advise why this is and how to have it show on my mobile phone.

Hi there,

Thanks for writing in! Video background is disabled in mobile device due to performance reason and it’s more bandwidth hungry. And user can’t interact to background videos, which using background video poster is a good thing for mobiles.

any way how I can achieve even adding a background image to the mobile version of my site link above as there is just a blank space there now when viewed on mobile.

Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for writing back. You can use Poster Image and that will be used as fallback background image for mobile devices.

Thank you I’m using revolution slider on my home page pulling a video in on a transparent background above the main nav menu could advise how I can insert the mobile fallback image in a situation like mine please ?

Thanks for writing back. You should be able to set Poster/Cover Image for any kind of background video you use on Revolution Slider – http://prntscr.com/e6ea4c
