knoptixParticipantEver since I have owned X theme, I have been experiencing this weird issue of mobile devices such as an iPhone cannot enter a password on a page that is locked.
The device can navigate to the page, but when they tap on the entry field, they cannot type anything.
Any ideas?

RupokMemberHi there,
Thanks for writing in! We never seen or reported such issue yet. Would you give us exact URL of a protected page? I can’t replicate this for my testing site with mobile device as it seems working fine.
Cheers!

ChristopherModeratorHi there,
Please see the attachment, I was able to enter the password using mobile.
Please clear cache and check again.
Please add following code in Customize -> Custom -> CSS :
.proof_gallery hr { margin-bottom: 6.5rem; }Hope that helps.

knoptixParticipantThank you for the CSS help. However the iPhones still cannot log into locked pages. Some of my Android clients cannot still either.

RupokMemberHi there,
Thanks for writing back. I have also tried with multiple mobile device and didn’t face any issue. I am adding a screenshot on my end.
Note that there is nothing extraordinary rather just a simple input box so it should work on every device that works.
Cheers!

knoptixParticipantDo you think maybe it’s a setting I have or plugin causing it?
May 4, 2016 at 7:05 am #912329
ChristianModeratorYes, this might be a device specific setting issue. Please also try clearing your mobile browser’s history or cache.
Thanks.

knoptixParticipantI have made sure all caches are cleared and disabled plugins with still no luck. What do you think the next step should be?

ChristianModeratorI’ve tested your page in my Android phone and was able to enter the password. I’ll forward this to our development team to see if the issue will happen on their end. I could not further investigate because it works fine on my end. Please stay tuned.

AlexanderKeymasterHi there,
I’ve been able to reproduce the error on your site, but I’ve also tested X by itself with Renew and couldn’t reproduce it. It looks like the PixProof plugin is adding additional styling to text inputs, so that could be it. I see you’re also running a caching plugin. It’s possible that your mobile device stored that cache, and even after clearing it on the server it didn’t clear fully on the device. My suspicion now is that we’re still looking at some kind of plugin conflict. If you wouldn’t mind posting login credentials, we could try to verify this.

Rue NelModeratorHello There,
I am another staff checking on this thread! I tested your site on mobile phone and still could not see any issues. Could you please send us some screenshots so that we will have an idea of what is going on from your end?
Thank you.

RadModeratorHi there,
That’s really weird, it won’t accept cookies. Would you mind providing your FTP login credentials as well?
Thanks!
