Hi there – one question about the background on mobile:

    1) The picture background on my front page moves and resizes when I scroll on mobile – at least on the iPhone I have used. I have put the image URL in the X Settings>Background Images section of the Customizer. Is there a way to fix this?

Thanks for the awesome theme and support. If you need my credentials, I have provided them in the private post following this one.

Sorry I was unclear. What actually occurs when I scroll (in Chrome and in Safari on the iPhone 6s) is initially all is well with the background photo covering the whole screen. After I touch-scroll down the screen, the background picture resizes and I have a small band of non-covered space at the bottom of the screen. I have attached a screen shot showing how it looks normally (GoodScreen.jpg), and a screenshot showing what happens when I scroll (BadScreen.jpg). Hopefully this makes it more clear for y’all. Thanks!

    Hi there,

In mobile, an event such as resize and scroll are triggered upon the release of touch (tap). And rendering only triggers on every scroll or resize. It’s displaying since you’re holding the tap, and only released when done the tapping. Well, it will not scroll if you’ll not hold the tap as you scroll.

It’s been an issue with background images with fixed positioning. There is no solution yet due to limitation of mobile browser, but we’ll still looking into it.

    Thanks!
