pageonewdParticipantI have a website set up: http://www.ghoshortho.com/devsite/
In above website one page navigation and menu links are setup.
– IN home page one page navigation working fine but when we on inner page and click on Office menu link page navigation doesn’t working but page are scrolling up and down in below
– http://www.ghoshortho.com/devsite/office/welcome/Onepage-navigation works fine on Homepage. But when on Welcome. The menu doesn’t bring the visitor to de homepage (nor the several #x-content-bank-1 items). Only the menu-items Home work as supposed. Clicking other menu-items just keeps the Welcome scrolling up and down, like a one-pages…
Any help to solve this is very much appriciated.
Regards,
David

Rue NelModeratorHello David,
Thanks for writing in! Normally the correct way of setting up one page navigation is to have two separate menus. One menu will be assign as your primary menu. In this menu, you will have links to the page where you want to apply one page navigation. The links would be
http://example.com/#x-content-band-1. The second menu will be used exclusively for the one page navigation menu. In this menu, you will only have this links#x-content-band-1in your menu items. If even you have setup above did not work, you might need this JS code. Please add the following JS code in the customizer, Appearance > Customize > Custom > Edit Global Javascript
jQuery(function($){ $('body:not(.x-one-page-navigation-active) .x-navbar .x-nav a').on('click', function(){ window.location = $(this).attr('href'); }); });We would loved to know if this has work for you. Thank you.

JoaoModeratorHi David.
I will try to clarify.
You need to setup two different menus on Appereance > Menus
Menu 1 : Your Main menu > This menu will contain absolute links like :
URL: http://www.ghoshortho.com/devsite/#x-content-band-1
This will be assigned as your website main menu.
Menu 2 : This will be your one page navigation menu , it will contain relative links >
URL: #x-content-band-1
This Menu you will go to your home page , click edit page, once you are in your WordPress classic back end editor you will assign it as your One page navigation menu.
That way your links will work and highlight correctly while in your home page and will also work once you are on your Blog page for example.
Hope that makes sense.
