laureljtParticipantHi, I am looking for instructions on migrating my entire site from http://bbcu2.cthumb.com/ (hostgator server a) to biblebaptistuniontown.com (hostgator server b). Most of what I have seen only captures cornerstone. I would think most people would usually want to move all of it.
xTheme – Version 4.5.2
Cornerstone – Version 1.3.3
Slider Revolution – Version 5.3.1.5February 27, 2017 at 12:34 am #1386912

laureljtParticipantI guess the part I am confused is if there is a way to move the site in its entirety and not just a partial migration. Is there a video of this with xTheme?

ChristopherModeratorHi there,
Regretfully X doesn’t have such video. Please follow the links base on your need and let us know if you find any steps confusing.
Thanks.

laureljtParticipantJust to check. I am guessing this way will not work I found on youtube. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t0mk9rk-Vd0. I probably need to add to this step the conerstone migration portion.

ChristopherModeratorSure, you have to follow this link https://community.theme.co/kb/cornerstone-migration and install WP migrate db plugin in order to migrate CS content, otherwise pages which were created in CS won’t be accessible anymore.
Thanks.

laureljtParticipantI am looking at the “Make a full WordPress Transfer” guide from “https://www.siteground.com/tutorials/wordpress/transfer-wordpress/#full_wordpress_transfer”. They have it in three parts 1) Transfer WordPress Files 2) Migrate the WordPress Database 3) Reconfigure WordPress to work from the new server. At what point should I use the WP migrate db plugin?

Paul RModeratorHi,
You can use it after no. 3
Thanks

laureljtParticipantHi Support Team,
First I want to thank you for all your help so far. It is much appreciated. I have completed the migration and the new site location is http://biblebaptistuniontown.com/
But I have an issue with the map not showing on the front page (see attachment).
I have completed the following steps for the migration.
“Make a full WordPress Transfer” guide from “https://www.siteground.com/tutorials/wordpress/transfer-wordpress/#full_wordpress_transfer”. They have it in three parts
1) Transfer WordPress Files
2) Migrate the WordPress Database
3) Reconfigure WordPress to work from the new serverI did not do the cornerstone migration since I manually migrated the database in step 2 above and thought it would be redundant. So I am not sure if it is related to the map issue or not.

JoaoModeratorHi There,
First you need to be sure Cornerstone is working after your migration.
Please try to edit your existing pages in Cornerstone , if that works, your migration was good.
Regarding the map, you will need to generate a new Google Map Api Key on Google Admin Console.
Re-enter the new API key on your google map element and it should be fine.
Hope it helps
