Hi,
Regarding my site:
http://www.iecapital.cn (previously at http://www.iecapital.co, but using url forwarding).
WordPress 4.4.2 running X – Child Theme theme.
Cornerstone – version 0.7.3 installedI migrated to another hosting service and changed url extension with url forwarding (Originally at http://www.iecapital.co. Moved to http://www.iecapital.cn). When attempting to upload media to new site (www.iecapital.cn), I’m getting http error after the image fails to ‘crunch’.
Thoughts.
thanks
March 31, 2016 at 2:36 am #860355I think I may have found the issue, or at least one of them. My sense is I need to revoke the license for http://www.iecapital.co, thenmove authorization to http://www.iecapital.cn.
How do I do this?
The new url and hosting solution seems to be working correctly, other than I can can’t upload images or modify site (for example, replacing one image with another).

Thanks for writing in! To be able to do the migration, you must have two separate WP installations. I would suggest that you must only enable the url forwarding once you are done with migrating the site from the old url to the new one to avoid any errors.
Hope this helps. Kindly let us know.

Please check on Settings > General Settings and make sure that the WordPress Address (URL) and the Site Address (URL) are set correctly to the new URL.
If you have set them correctly but still having an issue, please provide us with your admin details in a private response so that we can check it further.

After making all your changes, since you have installed a caching plugin W3 Total Cache and WordFence, please clear your plugin cache before testing your site. This can cause the changes to not take place on the front end. It will eventually show up when the cache regenerates, but it’s not ideal if you’re looking to see your changes immediately. Caching plugins are best to turn on only when you’ve finished building the site.
We also noticed that you are still using X Shortcodes 2.4.0. Please deactivate and delete X Shortcodes plugin. Please take note that X shortcodes and its functionality has been consolidated into Cornerstone which you can install by going to X Addons > Extensions. To know more about Cornerstone, please check it out here: http://theme.co/blog/x-version-4-introducing-cornerstone/
And by the way, X 4.4.1 and Cornerstone 1.2.2 are now available! This release contains several bug fixes and we’re quite excited about the new features, so be sure to check out the changelog. Please do update to the latest version. After doing the updates, always remember to clear all caches when updating so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors.
Please let us know how it goes.
