My original menu reads and works as intended. http://www.MarriedbyaSeaCaptain.com
However, when I visit the Appearance>Menu all of my original Menu items are marked in red with an error message “There are some invalid menu items.”
However, more urgently, I did not include my Blog page in the original menu. Then when I tried to add my Blog page to the Menu bar, it will not appear. The page exists, and if I manually enter it i.e.; …com/blog/ it can be read.
Please see screenshot of Dashboard>Appearance>Menu
PS: Also attaching a screenshot of the error message: “Hey! Loading the preview tool took longer than expected. There may be script conflicts on this page.”
I will glad to provide Private Message with WP login link, Username, and Password if you would consider taking a look

Thanks

That is happening because the amount of menu items vs your logo width vs your menu items font size / font spacing and link spacing are all together to wide.
You need to adjust those parameters at Appereance > Customizer > Header
I would recommend you reducing the size of your logo to 350px and the top link spacing to : 2
But this is just a suggestion.
You can also disable search if you judge is not really useful on your website(another suggestion just)
Let us know how it goes

July 26, 2016 at 12:35 pm #1103881Perfect. I was able to leave logo at size by reducing spacing to :2, and turning off Search!
Thanks Joao.
July 26, 2016 at 12:38 pm #1103884Happy to hear that. Feel free to ask us again. Have a great day! 🙂
