arefsParticipantI am creating a one page website and want to link from my navigation menu links to various sections on the homepage.
I thought I had set this up correctly but it doesn’t seem to be working as I would like it to.
My homepage is wppatrol.com
You can see the links “How It Works” and “FAQ” in the main navigation.
These connect to sections on the page.
However, you can also see that there is a blue highlight above these links which looks werid.

How can I remove this so that the only highlighted link when a person is on the homepage is the “Home” link?
Thanks.

ChristopherModeratorHi there,
Please edit menu items and add relative URLs instead of absolute ones, e.g :
#how-it-works.Hope it helps.

arefsParticipantI’m sorry but I don’t know what you mean by “Please edit menu items and add relative URLs instead of absolute ones”.
Can you explain with examples?

JadeModeratorHi there,
Apologies for the confusion. Absolute URLs are complete URLs like:
http://mysite.com/#divId
then relative URLs are simply the direct div or section ID preceded with a pound sign #.Hope this explains it.

arefsParticipantI’m sorry can but I still don’t get it.
I asked you to describe with examples as that is always the simplest and quickest way to teach someone something. However, you haven’t do than that.
So once again, please explain what I need to do with examples form my actual website of what I must change – wppatrol.com
Thank you.

NicoModeratorHi There,
In your menu settings, add the URL where you want to redirect it. Check attached so you could see where to add it.
Hope it helps. Let us know how it goes.
Thanks.
