Hi
My site has suddenly got all these blank spaces with no pictures in the product listings.I have attached screenshots. I don’t know where they are from.
I was thinking some sort of double listing or category when adding products so I unchecked and rechecked the product categories in each listing but still these empty boxes show.
Or I thought maybe it was a tag issue so I deleted some of them but still they showed these boxes and with numbers below with yellow boxes? What does that mean?
They look like empty listings but I never created so many.
I added the products with the photos last night so Im not sure why this is. Please urgent help.

November 25, 2016 at 2:31 am #1270303Hello There,
Thanks for updating in! To make sure that all your categories have a category thumbnail, please go to Products > Categories. You’ll have to edit the categories one by one and upload a thumbnail. Please see this screenshot: http://prntscr.com/dbjp6k
Hope this helps.
November 25, 2016 at 3:17 am #1270334Hi,
It was the EWWW Image Optimizer plugin under Advanced Settings in the left hand side bar in Settings that diabled the creation of the thumbnails.I have unchecked it now to creat those shop/ sizes and thumbnail sizes in the future.
Are they necessary as I am not showing categories at the moment? Or could users browse to find no pic there at some thumbnail?
OH, that may be for plugins or the widgets? Right?
Thank you.
November 25, 2016 at 4:14 am #1270364Hi,
Regretfully, at this time I am not entirely certain what it is you would like to accomplish based on the information given in your post. If you wouldn’t mind providing us with a little more clarification on what it is you’re wanting to do (perhaps some screenshots), we’ll be happy to provide you with a response once we have a better understanding of the situation.
November 25, 2016 at 4:37 am #1270376Hi,
Is it necessary to create the thumbnails manually? I see thumbnails are being used in Recently Viewed Products and Top Rated widgets. Will there be missing thumbnails on the site for similar or other pages?
Or can I use EWWW Image Optimizer plugin under Advanced Settings in the left hand side bar in Settings to regenerate them?
Thank you.
November 25, 2016 at 4:59 am #1270386Hi,
Yes, you need to create thumbnail for your category.
Ewww Image Optimizer is only use to optimize existing images but not to create a new one.
Thanks
