stewardsofselfParticipantI’ve been searching how to add a mailchimp pop-up to my site but everything I have found and tried hasn’t worked. I installed the child theme and tried to add codes that I found provided to the functions.php page but it’s still not working. Am I missing a step after I set up the theme as to what I need to do to the functions page before adding the code?? My site is stewardsofself.com and this is the mailchimp embed code I received:
<script type=”text/javascript” src=”//s3.amazonaws.com/downloads.mailchimp.com/js/signup-forms/popup/embed.js” data-dojo-config=”usePlainJson: true, isDebug: false”></script><script type=”text/javascript”>require([“mojo/signup-forms/Loader”], function(L) { L.start({“baseUrl”:”mc.us14.list-manage.com”,”uuid”:”6884f2b37cdf6a9286d891b5b”,”lid”:”d8337f8ccd”}) })</script>
Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am going bonkers over this!

ChristopherModeratorHi there,
Instead of adding JS code and modifying child theme, please use Convertplug to add modal popup, please see : https://community.theme.co/kb/integrated-plugins-convertplug
Hope it helps.

stewardsofselfParticipantThank you…I was able to get the pop up set up, but nothing happens when I enter my email and hit submit. I watched the video and did everything step by step so I’m not sure what’s happening đ

We will get that fixed with you.
I went to your website and clicked on Convertplug | Modal and I was able to create a modal.

If you cant achieve it,

stewardsofselfParticipantIt’s weird too because when I go to edit a page in cornerstone or if you type in a URL to any page OTHER than the home page (ie http://www.stewardsofself.com/about), the pop-up shows up and will let me submit the information, but when you go directly to the homepage I still cannot submit the information.

RadModeratorHi there,
Your embed code is still there within RAW element and it triggers error,
<script type=âtext/javascriptâ src=â//s3.amazonaws.com/downloads.mailchimp.com/js/signup-forms/popup/embed.jsâ data-dojo-config=âusePlainJson: true, isDebug: falseâ></script><script type=âtext/javascriptâ>require([âmojo/signup-forms/Loaderâ], function(L) { L.start({âbaseUrlâ:âmc.us14.list-manage.comâ,âuuidâ:â6884f2b37cdf6a9286d891b5bâ,âlidâ:âd8337f8ccdâ}) })</script>please remove it.
And try disabling Contact Form 7 too, it’s triggering error too.
Thanks!

stewardsofselfParticipantThank you! I couldn’t find the raw content in Cornerstone, but I found it in the text editor on the page and was able to remove it from there…that fixed the problem without having to disable contact form 7
I appreciate your help!
