SpammedoutParticipantHi,
I’ve entered the Mailchimp API key into the email form field, and when I press update, the key disappears. I followed the forum threads and entered the following into the Mailchimp.php file: curl_setopt($this->ch, CURLOPT_SSL_VERIFYPEER, false); but this has not helped. I use Chrome and have cleared the cache, I’ve also tried a different browser (Firefox) but the result is the same. Please advise. ThanksFebruary 11, 2017 at 12:37 am #1366783

Would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:
– Link to your site
– WordPress Admin username / password
– Mailchimp API keyDon’t forget to select Set as private reply. This ensures your information is only visible to our staff.
Thanks.

RadModeratorHi there,
Maybe it’s unable to connect to MailChimp server, but I like to confirm it first. Would you mind providing your FTP login credentials as well? I’ll check if there is any error.
Thanks!

RadModeratorHi there,
I can’t login through FTP, it says authentication fail. Maybe it’s blocking my connection request. Would you mind providing the panel credentials instead? Something with the file manager feature, that should be okay too.
Thanks!

SpammedoutParticipantHi, do you mean the cPanel credentials of my hosting account?

RadModeratorHi there,
Yes, or anything with the file manager as I can’t get in with your provided FTP credentials.
Thanks!

SpammedoutParticipantThanks! Can you let me know what the problem was and how you resolved it?

RadModeratorHi there,
The same fix that you added, the error was related to SSL.
Thanks!

SpammedoutParticipantHi Rad,
Does that mean I can’t use SSL?
