    Hi,

I just updated, while using a child theme, and LOST EVERYTHING. How did this happen? What happened? I thought if you used a child theme its safe to update the main theme?

What do I do now? Start from scratch? No there is no backup….

    Hi

Sure, been re-building it, but here are the login details,

Current issues, is that I’ve lost all alignment of columns, they are stacked on top of each other instead of next to each other. Gallery page still shows short code only.

I re-did all the other customisations.

    Hello Gary,

    Thank you for the credentials.
Please use the following code for images.
    [x_image class="la-gallery" src="http://lacomo.co.za/dev/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/la1.jpg" alt="La Como Gallery 1" type="thumbnail" link="true" href="http://lacomo.co.za/dev/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/la1.jpg" title="La Como Gallery 1"]
Upon checking, the space on your shortcode was converted to  . This is the a result when you copy the shortcode on block grid item settings > Visual Tab element. Please try copy above shortcode in the TEXT TAB of BLOCK GRID ITEM SETTINGS instead. See attached screenshots.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi

Thanx for this, odd how it worked and then suddenly stopped working without anything changing.. I’ve fixed, it but you did not answer my question about items stacking? On almost every page we have used 1/2 1/2 columns and they don’t display next to each other, they display on top of each other?

    Hello Gary,

    You’re welcome!
Please try to reinstall your X theme. It seems that it is corrupted because there are few missing styles. You can delete X folder via FTP on wp-content/themes/. Then try installing it again. Do this also for Cornerstone. Delete cornerstone folder on wp-content/plugins/ then visit Addons homepage for automatic installation.

    Hope this helps.

Ok I have done that and now it’s stuffed my website up once more! Completely buggered!

It’s looking for this file, and it’s simply not in the download folder? I downlaoded it again and there is no such directory as x\framework\css\stacks?

    Hi there,

I was able to fix it by updating child theme @important statement. For more information on this process, take a look at the 4.3.3 release notes: http://theme.co/changelog/#theme-4-3-3

    Hope it helps.
