    Hi… couldn’t resolve this from other threads…

I would like my 22 sec video to loop. I’ve activate the loop feature in the source settings, as the video is also set the background / main.

You’ll see the video here (slider at bottom of page): http://www.FoxyFieryAndFree.com

And a screenshot of my settings…

    Hi there,

Is this a above or below masthead slider? if so, please try to add video file under ‘Optional background video’ field.

If you need further assist, provide us with login credentials in private replay.

    Hope it helps.

YES! I got it to loop… not sure exactly what it was… might have been the “&loop=1” that I added to the vimeo arguments… but I did that last night and it didn’t work.

    Anyways… it’s working.

LAST QUESTION: Will the video play on mobile devices? Or not… I just get a screenshot right now.

    Hello There,

Glad you got it working. Yes, it’s in the video argument.
It depends on how you add the video. Background video will not show on mobile. See this link for detailed explanation.https://www.themepunch.com/faq/video-not-showing-up-on-mobile/

    Hope this helps.

    OK…

I’ve changed this to a VIDEO LAYER (not background) so it will play on mobile devices. Looks great on desktop, but it’s not playing on mobile. The video played initially when I set it up, but then it stopped. On mobile, I am only seeing a Thumbnail. No video at all to play. Can you look at my layer settings for “Video1” slider and see what’s up with mobile not playing?

    Hi there,

It’s a Vimeo video, and I think the video is disabled on mobile. The video is within an iframe since it’s hosted on Vimeo (external site) and the slider has no direct control over it. You could check your video in Vimeo and see if you can enable it for mobile. You could also try self-hosted video, like HTML5 Video.

    Thanks!

Hi. I was previously informed by Lely (above) that I just needed to add the video as a layer, not background, and it would play on mobile. I did this… I removed it as background and created it as a slider layer. It worked GREAT on mobile and then it stopped… I’m not sure what setting I changed in the process. Can you have someone who understands mobile video with slider revolution look at my settings please? I know it works, just as Lely instructed… but I’ve changed something and I don’t know how to get the mobile video working again. Thanks.

    Hello There,

Please check their documentation here:https://www.themepunch.com/revslider-doc/video-layers/: Select Vimeo Tab. Since you’re using a Vimeo video, please select Vimeo on Video layer. Refer to the link for correct setup. See also attached screenshot.

Hi Lely! Ok guys… I really need a hand here… I’ve reviewed all the canned documentation as instructed. I need someone to look over my settings to see what I’m missing.

The video layer on mobile will not play. It worked fine on mobile when I first set it up a few days ago (after your first reply, Lely). I changed something along the way and can’t get it to play on mobile.

I have created an entirely new slide, from scratch, and added ONE SIMPLE video layer, as instructed EXACTLY on Themepunch. It views fine on desktop, but on mobile it’s just a screenshot. I KNOW it works, not just because Themepunch says it will, but because I’ve had it working. I just don’t know what changed.

If someone could just PLEASE look at my revolution slider settings (Video3) and see what you see… I would GREATLY APPRECIATE it!! I even uploaded the video to self-hosted and tried an HTML5 as the video layer source. No change… so I don’t believe it’s happening on the Vimeo side… it’s something with Revolution Slider.

    THANK YOU!

Your settings looks correct. Please try uninstalling Slider Revolution then install again via Addons.

    Thanks.
