BildrethParticipantI have 2 problems really.
I didn’t want to use a 3rd party site like YouTube or whatever else to host my video content, so decided to load a 22 meg test video i made, a slow pan of the company logo.Ideally I would Like it to auto-play and repeat on my home page.
– see – http://www.meschene.com
the 2nd problem is that the video itself only appears on certain browsers and devices. Fine on my PC – chrome is best, but with edge browser the video takes 10 seconds to appear [win 10] – My girlfriends laptop will do everything on Firefox, but no video on edge, either. Her HTC phone cannot see any video on homepage. my Samsung S6 cannot either – regardless of browser.
My phone used to play the embedded stuff from YouTube fine, but because i want full support [i was told that i could not get support with an issue relating to YouTube, and I don’t like the fact that at the end of my show-reel has pictures of lots of random YouTube videos on my site i hate that.
I have a mammoth computer and connected to broadband via Ethernet – super fast.
In a nutshell I would love it if –
1. My video [on home page] worked on all devices and browsers. [especially my new Samsung S6 android] – worked fine with YouTube embedded but nothing from media library.
2 My Video will repeat indefinitely. on the homepage.
Note – I am not using Vimeo or YouTube because i was told i would not be supported here with 3rd party hosted footage. I decided to upload it to my media library – its only 22 meg.
If in the event that I CAN use vimeo or youtube and still get support, I’d like to know how to repeat the video still.
Many thanks for any assistance 🙂
Bildreth.

FriechModeratorHi Bildreth,
I did just replied to your other post here: https://community.theme.co/forums/topic/can-i-make-my-video-loop/
The video player element has a loop and autoplay option.
Please read do your reply on that other thread.
