HI there I am getting a long pause or the 2nd slide not starting at all in a 2-slide slider I have set up in Revolution Slider. I have tried searching for answer to this in the forum but I have tried everything I have come across and nothing seems to work. I have used revolution slider before but not experienced this issue before…
ThanksOctober 29, 2016 at 1:57 pm #1236091Hi There,
Thanks for writing in.
You could check the link below on how to change the timing of your slider.

let us know how it goes.
Thanks.
November 20, 2016 at 8:44 am #1264299That didn’t work – there is still a long pause between the first and second slide – you can see it here: http://www.test.thecoachingclinic.com/ I would appreciate some detailed help on this…
November 20, 2016 at 9:14 am #1264319Hi there,
Thanks for writing back. It seems you need to change the timing (delay, duration etc.). It’s not possible to say what’s going on without checking the slider settings. You can follow Revolution Slider Documentation for more details. If you want us to have a look, you can share your login credentials in a private reply.
Cheers!

Please check now, I changed some settings of your video. I toggled on the Slide on end option.
Cheers!
November 21, 2016 at 3:00 am #1265047That hasn’t worked – now it’s just sitting at the end of the first slide which you have also changed so the video and the end image don’t match up… That took me ages to get that right and you can now also see the next section of the page where you couldn’t before on a desktop or laptop and the second slide isn’t coming on at all now – it should automatically flow through to the next slide. You have toggled it on the wrong slide and that wasn’t the issue…. Can you recheck please and put the first slide back to how it was???
November 21, 2016 at 3:03 am #1265048seriously what have you done??? I cannot reduce the size of the video now to match the size of the image…..
November 21, 2016 at 3:05 am #1265049OK I have got the video to go back to how it was… PLEASE don’t change any video settings… All I need help with is removing what is a very long pause between the slides… which now is a complete stop because of a setting you changed…
November 21, 2016 at 3:40 am #1265080Hi there,
Currently your slide duration is 9 seconds, please change it to desired number like 4000ms.
Hope it helps.
November 21, 2016 at 10:31 am #1265617Hi Chris
OK i think there is some confusion – probably on my part. I have set my slides to a specific duration and the first slide runs for that duration – but then when the slide comes to an end it doesn’t go into the next slide. It did before but there was a really long gap. Now it stops completely and i believe one of your colleagues made that change. I am asking for help to ensure that my slide is set to the right duration and that it goes straight into slide number 2. Is that somethign you can help me with?November 21, 2016 at 12:03 pm #1265759Hi There,
I have changed your Default Slide Duration for 4000ms and your slides are transitioning quite well.
I have counted and your slides were taking pretty much 16seconds so I decide to cat that in less than half and now seems like it works fine.
Hope you are happy with the solution.
Joao
