Hi guys,
Is there a way to integrate a live webcam in cornerstone? Currently redesigning a website and there is one live webcam: https://travelcrestedbutte.com/crested-butte-web-cameras/ (Chopwood Mercantile – Elk Ave)
The page I am transferring the content is this one:http://www.enjoycrestedbutte.com/crested-butte-webcams/
Thanks!
December 28, 2016 at 12:59 pm #1307488Hi there,
Thanks for writing in! It depends on the procedure of integrating the webcam to a page. If you can integrate to default WordPress editor then it should be integrated to Cornerstone as well. Moreover you can add custom JS/CSS within Cornerstone page. So if you have any step by step procedure to integrate the webcam then let us know, we’ll be able to suggest if that’s possible or not.
Cheers!
January 2, 2017 at 3:48 pm #1313271Great! I did find some documentation for the video.js code which is supposed to be to stream a live webcam. Here it is: http://docs.videojs.com/docs/guides/setup.html
Not really positive which code to integrate and am I supposed to put in the custom JS section of the page? Also for the other webcams all I needed was the link to the image, but for there doesn’t seem to be a link for this one… or am I missing something?
Thank you!
January 2, 2017 at 10:20 pm #1313624Hi there,
Thanks for writing back. So you will need to add some external scripts. You can add the code following this thread – https://community.theme.co/forums/topic/add-tracking-code-to-header/#post-776299
You can add the HTML within Text Element.
Cheers!
