I’m using visual composer and can confirm that the responsive lightbox is not working in chrome, but does work in FF and IE.

September 11, 2014 at 4:47 am #102615Hi Ben,
Thanks for confirming.
This is something we’re still looking into and hoping to have a solution from their developers soon.
Thank you for understanding. Take care.
September 15, 2014 at 9:03 am #105095I think this is just down to how Chrome browser is setup. If it detects a a touchscreen then certain events are deemed to be touch only (instead of mouse click). To clarify this only happens in Chrome, on touchscreens.
more info here
https://github.com/dbushell/Nestable/issues/92It can be manually turned off in the browser using chrome://flags
would be great if we could override it though.
September 15, 2014 at 10:12 am #105139Hi Ben,
Thank you for writing in!
I tested the demo website using Macbook Air, the lightbox seems to be working just fine with touchpad. Would you mind providing us some details about your laptop and OS?
Thanks!
September 15, 2014 at 10:18 am #105147I am having the same problem, I have an HP Envy 15 touchscreen and cannot get the Lightbox functionality to work when clicking with touchpad or mouse. It does, however, work if I use the touchscreen.

September 19, 2014 at 10:23 am #108055Hi Arnout,
We are still looking into this issue, We would appreciate if you can provide chrome console errors and specific information on how to recreate this issue as our support team is having a hard time replicating this lightbox issue with chrome.
Thanks
EDIT: One more update. There is a new version of iLightbox available that we plan to include in an upcoming release.

October 4, 2014 at 9:49 am #118460Hi there Moty,
Would you please right click on the lightbox page of yours and click on inspect element, then from pop up window go to console and see you see any messages in red?
If yes would you please share those with us? Thank you.
October 23, 2014 at 4:23 am #130524Hi,
Just reporting similar problems here. I have a hybrid computer with touchscreen and the lightbox wont work in Google Chrome using the mouse but it will work if I use touch. That computer is running Win 8.1 and the latest update to Chrome (v38…).
I also have a desktop computer where it doesn’t work at all in Chrome. It doesn’t have a touchscreen connected to it but it does have a Wacom tablet and maybe it is causing similar problems. However I can’t get the lightbox to work at all in Chrome on this computer, either using the mouse or the pen.
Looked at the console and nothing seems to write as I try different things. No red text.
Everything works fine in Internet Explorer.
Any suggestions?
Thanks!
October 23, 2014 at 2:10 pm #130966Hi Heber,
Thanks for reporting, we’re still looking into it. Would you mind providing your url lightbox url address so we could include it from investigation?
Thanks.
December 22, 2014 at 3:41 pm #169185Has there been an update on this? I put in a ticket months ago with this problem too.
December 23, 2014 at 9:11 am #169932Hi Carol,
We don’t have an update at this time. We’ve seen a few people report it, but it’s difficult to fully test as it seems to only be a subset of devices that are actually experiencing the problem. We do have some ideas we’re trying, and it’s something we’re investigating for an upcoming release. I can’t give any ETA or further details though.
