Hi There,
Just some general feedback regarding the changes made to the product validation process.I recently moved a site from a staging area to the permanent domain. I went to generate a new API key and saw this message:
“Looking for API keys? We’ve removed these in favor of just using the purchase code directly. For new site validations, you can use your purchase code directly. Sites previously validated with an API key, will remain validated, but moving forward API keys will no longer be used.” (bolding mine)
I assigned the user’s purchase code to the permanent domain and then went to the site to enter the purchase code in place of the API key, per the instructions above. It did not work. I tried it again, and it did not work. Then I tried entering the license, and it worked! May I suggest that you change the wording from “. . . just using the purchase code directly” to “. . . just using the license directly.”
This little glitch aside, what a great improvement to the validation process!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you.
