instadesignParticipantHi,
I have three X licences (so far!) and I can see all three purchase codes in my Envato account. However one of them I cannot add in my Themeco account – I’m getting a message saying it’s already been registered with a different account, suggesting maybe I have ended up with a duplicate account… but I can’t see any trace of that.
Any help much appreciated.
Thanks,
Henry

FriechModeratorHi Henry,
We’ll forward this to our account manager to check that purchased code.
Regarding this site http://www.thehiphopchipshop.com/ I don’t see the readme.html page, so I assume this is a latest version of WP (4.5). Previous version of X with WP 4.5 has an issue with automatic update, so please update your X and Cornerstone manually. You can follow the instruction provided here.
After a successful update, you can validate the site with Purchased code directly (API key no more).
I’d advice that you duplicate the site on a test server and do the update there first, as it seems the site has some customization in it that might need to re-touch to be compatible with the latest version.
Another thing, please clear/disable any caching plugins/feature that the site might have, after doing an update. To make sure that the site is serving you the latest files.
Cheers!

instadesignParticipantHi Friech,
Thank you for your response, however what you describe is exactly what I’ve already done. I successfully updated everything on my MAMP local server environment, everything was working perfectly. Migrated to the live server using WP Migrate DB Pro as I always do and I got a load of CS related errors on the front end. So I rolled back X and Cornerstone and now the site works okay but I’m left with the above issue… I could try the whole process again but I don’t know what I could do differently; I was hoping if I give you admin access you could assist.
Many thanks,
Henry

RubinKeymasterHey There,
I have freed up that purchase code for you and you can now add it to your account.
You can validate the theme with the license code even though it’s asking for the API code, those two are “interchangeable” so the license code will work fine if you’ve added the site url to the license section.

instadesignParticipantHi again,
Just to let you know, I’ve now updated X and CS on the live server, validated and everything seems to be okay.
Thanks for your time,
Henry
