Hi!
When I first installed X , with the demo content, there was a pop up box that appeared when you first went to the homepage. I somehow removed it when I was editing my site, however, now that I have completed it I want to add that pop up box or leadbox again to the homepage so that I can create an opt it to obtain email addresses and build my client database. How can I add it again?

Hi there,

Thanks for writing in! There are two possible events where you can have a pop-up like box with X. However, they don’t come within a demo. So there is no way that you would have disabled a feature like that as it doesn’t come with the X demos.

X has two extensions that could help you with this.

1. Content Dock – which slides in when you scroll down towards the bottom of your site.
2. ConvertPlug – which is a 3rd Party Integration that allows you more options

You may have installed another 3rd Party plugin when you first installed X and the demo content. This may have caused you to have a feature. The above mentioned extensions don’t install by default, you need to install them via X Addons > Extensions. If you need the functionality, we suggest you take a look at our extensions before trying 3rd Party Plugins.
