Hi,
I’ve created a very basic slide in the bundled Layerslider plugin. Just one slide with a background and a paragraph of text set to word-wrap.
It works perfectly in Chrome but in Safari (mobile and desktop) it doesn’t work. At some window widths it wraps appropriately but at many (such as the default width of iPads) it doesn’t word-wrap appropriately and the text will run off the bottom of the slide. The odd thing is that there is no breakpoint for this behavior, by dragging the window size to be narrower you’ll see the word-wrap work fine, then behave oddly, then fine again, all in rapid succession. See attached images for how it looks when it works and when it doesn’t (due to the oddities of the forum editor here I accidentally loaded the “bad” one twice).
I’ve setup an example using a completely fresh install of wordpress, X theme, and the Layerslider add-on here: sandbox.ixrhosting.com
Cheers

Thanks for writing in.
Yes, looks like a bug, but not always the case. The sizing is calculated through javascript and not CSS, hence, it’s the bit harder to fix it. Forcing it with CSS is like disabling the responsive capability of javascript. I’ll continue checking, for the meantime, please try the Revslider, it has its proper and complete scaling capability than LS.
Thanks!

I wanted to check in to see if you’ve made progress on creating a fix.
I’m pursuing Revslider but in the long run would really like have Layerslider 6 working as there is specific functionality I need for an upcoming project.
Thanks

Still no luck, I’ll re-forward this for further checking.
Thanks!
