jsjmccrackenParticipantHello!
I tried updating Layerslider and and it failed. Then when I refreshed my plugins page it wasn’t there anymore and now my slides are missing…? I got this error: “The plugin LayerSlider/layerslider.php has been deactivated due to an error: Plugin file does not exist.” I didn’t deactivate the plugin. When I tried adding it again through the Addons I got this error: “Destination folder already exists.”
What’s going on and how can I get this fixed?
Thank you,
Jacob

Nabeel AModeratorHi there,
Thanks for writing in! It seems like the plugin folder still exists in the plugin directory, via FTP navigate to plugins directory and delete the Layerslider plugin folder and then via Addons try re-installing the plugin again.
Let us know how this goes!

jsjmccrackenParticipantHow do I access the plugins directory? I don’t use FTP often.

RupokMemberHi there,
Thanks for updating. You need to use FTP or cPanel File manager. You must access your files on the server, right? So just use the way you use often. You will find the broken folder within wp-content/plugins/ directory. Just delete this and try installing again.
Hope this makes sense.
Cheers!
