    I have recently updated my site (X theme and associated bundled plugins) and one of the bundled plugins (Layer Slider) will not update. It says it was successful but then it keeps asking to update over and over.

    Hi guys,

    Would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:

    – Link to your site
    – WordPress Admin username / password
    – FTP credentials

    Hi There,

    Please disable all your third party plugins specially the ones ralated to cache em security and try to perform the update again, once it is done you can turn them back on.

    If that doesn´t help, uninstall Layerslider and Install it again via Wp-Admin Dashboard / Addons.

    I am having the exact same issue. Despite doing everything described above I can’t seem to update Layer Slider plugin from version 5.6.4 to 5.6.8.

    I also saw this note when I try to update the plugin from the settings page.

    I have the same issue. After getting the update successful message and after browsing to another page the update messages reappears.

    Any solutions yet?

    Hey guys,

    There has been an issue with the Layer Slider update that is now fixed. Please uninstall Layer Slider and install again via Addons.

    I have same issues that needs to update layerslider wp. I try to uninstall and install it again from addons. Still message shows needs to update. This site is not yet authorized to receive plugin updates.
