Hello Guys,
I’m would ask for your help on Layer Slider.
You’ll find my credentials in the next post, my site is in private mode.#1 – I can’t get rid of the margin-top over the layer slider in the second row (the blue one with the zoom on the grey watch). The section, the row and the column are margin-top less but it stills this 19/20px gap. Where is the problem ?
#2 – The preview in Layer Slider>editing slides never worked for me. I dealed with it but i really would like to fix it now. Do you have an idea ?
Thanks a lot.

Thanks for writing in!
#1: It seems you are using Layer Slider shortcode in a Text element. The spacing is added by the empty paragraph tags in the Text element. To avoid that, please use Layer Slider element instead (see: http://prntscr.com/amrksj). You can then choose your slider under its settings.
#2: I’ve checked your admin panel, and there are many JavaScript errors that are causing the conflict with Layer Slider preview (see: http://prntscr.com/amrll5). In this case, you could try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
Thank you!
April 1, 2016 at 9:37 am #862623Hey guys,
Thanks for your quick answer.
#1 – it’s working perfectly, thanks a lot. I didn’t know there was a dedicated shortcode.#2 – all plugins deactivated and the problem remains. Another idea ?
Thanks again

I tried to delete Layer Slider and put it back but it’s not helping.
Or maybe i did it wrong because my slider was not erased. Is there another way than from the plugin page > desactivate > delete ?When you say “re-installing your rev. slider plugin”, are you referring to revolution slider ?
Thanks
April 3, 2016 at 8:11 pm #865175Hi there,
Sorry for the confusion, it should be re-installing Layer Slider 🙂
Is it okay if I do re-installation of Layer Slider? I may need to delete existing sliders too. But please backup your site.
And please provide your FTP login credentials too. If it’s not possible with re-installation, then maybe we can change the URL through hard coding.
Thanks!

I went ahead and fixed the issue for you. This bug was in Layer Slider plugin and has been fixed in their latest version. I’ll let our developers know about the bug so we can release the latest version.

April 5, 2016 at 3:46 am #867320Hi there,
Thanks for writing back, I’ve just checked your site and also see the same issue, there are actually multiple jQuery errors coming from LayerSlider. Including the space in the script location.
This appears to be a bug with LayerSlider itself, even though in the plugin changelog as 5.6.3, I only see 5.6.2 available for download, I’ve contacted the LayerSlider developers and will let you know when we have something.
Thanks for your patience.
