Hello,

The Height & Width Settings in Layer Slider are not appearing correctly at the web-site: http://www.raptureofthebride.com

I have 1150px x 650px set, but at the site, the pictures are appearing in a larger dimension.

From Layer Slider: Some images doesn’t show up in the slider or have incorrect size/position

This is usually the symptom of image preloader solutions. It can be a part of another plugin or a built-in feature in your theme. Please review your settings, since most authors offer a way to disable this feature.

I have a picture that didn’t appear also.

Thanks for writing in! Unfortunately, we are unable to see or replicate your issue on our end. Would you have happened to have solved your issue already? Your images are sized correctly on our end. Please update us otherwise – thanks!

Please also let us know the screen resolution you are viewing on, X is responsive so images will scale up and scale down depending on screen width.

Hi, thanks for the message. (no I haven’t solved the issue yet 🙂

The Screen Resolution I’m viewing on is: 1920 x 1200 — I checked the pictures on 1680 x 1050 also I believe.

The pictures may look like the right size but they are too big. (Unless, on your end it is ok)

At this site: http://www.jesusreturnisnear.com — the pictures in layer slider are the right size.

You’d have to look to gauge the picture size difference for the site this post is about: http://www.raptureofthebride.com and a ‘layer slider picture example site:’ http://www.jesusreturnisnear.com

Also, I have a picture that is not showing up in Layer Slider (#4 it may be) on my end. (at: http://www.raptureofthebride.com)

It may be an easy fix — per the info in the post above, from: Kreatura Media/Layer Slider.

Hey Victor,

This is because the container’s max width of http://jesusreturnisnear.com/ is close to 1150px which is the size of your image.

In http://raptureofthebride.com/, the max width is 1500px. Please lower that in the Customizer > Layout and Design > Site Max Width.

Hello, thanks for the message — that was an easy adjustment 🙂

However 🙂 Is it possible in the future (with an update/change) to have an option with the Menu/Nav bar, be independent of the container width? To be able to just set the header bar at full width —

That would be good maybe if that could be achieved.

p.s. If Layer Slider could be somehow made to adjust/appear, to it’s settings set in the Layer Slider section for Height/Width — Independent of the container width, (but not greater than) that would be good 🙂

I am a bit confused with what/if you still need help.

If yes please provide more details.

Regarding the Header we will soon release a new Header Editor and it should bring much more flexibility than our actual header builder in Customizer.
