So when i access my site, with a clear cache from a mobile device, the front page doesn’t always load.

I have tried deactivating all of my plugins, i have tried reducing the size of the image. No matter what I do it doesn’t load first time.

This is an issue as it’s the front page.

    Any help gratefully appreciated…

This issue seems to be specific to mobile devices…

Sometimes it loads other times it doesn’t it’s just very sporadic.
As well as the front page not loading correctly each time, the page blupace.com/blog also doesn’t load sometimes, or takes an excessive amount of time to load.

For the Blog grid at blupace.com/blog I think that ESS Grid is the culprit for making the page so slow. Is there a way to have a blog grid, without using ESS Grid? A speed index of nearly 10,000 is just way too high to be of any use what-so-ever.

With regards to the sporadic loading of the front page, is there a way to make sure this loads each and every time on a mobile device. As it’s not a lot of use if it only loads some of the times. Is there an alternative that is more reliable?

When i test in pingdom i get an fontawesome-webfont error that also creates wait time.

    Kind regards,

    Pace

    Hey Pace,

I’m another member of support and I checked your site on several different devices and a separate internet connections and your site loads fine all the time. The issue doesn’t happen on our end so we could not troubleshoot this. It would be best to seek help from a web developer on your area.

    Thanks.

With regards to the test results though, these are done from Dulles, VA. And a speed index of 10,000 is too high. Is there any way to reduce this for blupace.com/blog ?

I believe this to be the ESS Grid.

Also could you see the other issue at the bottom of my post, regarding
when i test in pingdom i get an fontawesome-webfont error that also creates wait time.

    Kind regards,

    Pace

Hi, This resolved the Cross-Origin Resource Sharing policy with Font Awesome.

With regards to the test results, A speed index of 10,000 is too high and the page take far too long to load. Is there any way to reduce this for blupace.com/blog ?

I believe ESS Grid to be the issue here… Is there a way to have my blog post in a grid, without using ESS Grid? The software just seems to create too much of a load delay.

It seems like ESS Grid is downloading full size copies of the featured images, instead of just small versions of the images for the icons..

    Hello There,

With Integrity stack, you can have your blog index to have a masonry layout. You can check it out here:
    http://theme.co/x/demo/integrity/1/blog/

As of this moment, you blog index you have used ESS Grid and it loads the full image and most of the time, it these images comes in bigger file size. I would recommend that you edit your Blog ESS grid and change the Image Source Type to something smaller like large or medium. Please see this screenshot:

    Hope this helps.

Hi Reducing the image source size has certainly helped a lot.

In case I wish to test the masonry layout, is this done with ess grid, or is another method used? If so could you just point me in the direction of the reading material. I thought Ess grid was the only way to set this up.

    Kind regards,

    Pace
