    Hi

Is it possible to use LaTeX with the various elements in Cornerstone?

    Hi there,

Thanks for writing in! You can try using it in Raw Content element or Text element.

    Hope this helps!

Yeah, but how? On most math and science forums I can write [tex] \code [tex] or $ \code $ to write LaTeX code. I downloaded a plugin in WordPress which allows me to write LaTeX code in my posts (by using $$ \code $$), but it does not work in Cornerstone. So, if I use Cornerstone to edit my posts, the code from that plugin does not transfer to the Cornerstone elements.

To rephrase, how do I write mathematics in Cornerstone?

    Hi,

Regretfully, cornerstone does not support latex code as of this time.

I will forward this to our web development team as a feature request.

    Please stay tuned for updates.

    Thanks

Well, in the meanwhile, how do you suggest I write mathematics in Cornerstone? Are images the only options?

    Hi Avatrin,

Yes, you can use images for now. Though, as mentioned, we’ll forward it to our developers. This way it can be taken into consideration for future development. All of these items are discussed with our team internally and prioritized based on the amount of interest a particular feature might receive.

    Thanks!
