    Hey guys,

    I’m ready to add english language on my website but i met some issues with Kornerstone and WPML.
    It’s my first time with WPML so do not hesitate to be very accurate 🙂

    Here is how i do:
    Click on the + button on pages listing > Copy content from French > Edit in kornerstone.
    After that click, it’s redirecting me to a 404 error page.

    Is there something i’m doing wrong ?
    Do you have a good tutorial to follow ?

    Hi,

    Thanks for the link.
    However, it’s not helping me because it’s only introducing the translation of strings.
    I have a WPML licence.

    My problem is i cannot access to the foreign version of my content because Kornerstone redirects me to a 404 error page.

    As i described :
    Click on the + button on pages listing > Copy content from French > Edit in Kornerstone > 404 error

    I didn’t see anything usefull in thoses tutorials. Did i miss something ?

    Hey again,

    It’s working now, i think the matter was that i didn’t “re-save the site permalinks”.

    Now i would like to know how can i easily duplicate the content of the french native version in english ? If i use the WPML “Copy from french content” button, it’s not helping because Kornerstone delete it when i launch Kornerstone (“the content has been edited out of the kornerstone interface …”).

    So i tried to export .csl file from french page in Kornerstone and upload in english page. It’s working but do not save the css associated.

    Is this the better way to make a translation with X, Kornerstone and WPML ?

    Hi there,

    Exporting the .csl file should do the job. Are you using CSS on Custom CSS box? In that case you can copy them and place on the new page. Or are you referring other CSS?

    Hey,

    Exactly, i was referring to the custom css box. Yep, i’ll c/p the css manually.

    I think it could be an important point to improve in X theme : The possibility to copy in one click the all page (blocs and contents) including the custom css to make the translation faster.
