romanobstuderParticipantHi all
I just installed X.I can not validate the code. I get
Uh oh, we couldn’t check if this license was valid. Details.Details: Invalid site URL.
What do I need to do?
BTW: my installation is local under XAMPP

RubinKeymasterHey There,
You will need to create a vhost on your local environment and once done add that url to your license page under Account > Manage Licenses. Hope that helps!

romanobstuderParticipantSite URL is not valid.
I get the above message.
I need to get this resolved over the next 1h as I intend to work on a 5h train journey with NO internet access.

romanobstuderParticipantthis URL ONLY exists on my laptop
the HOSTS file is re-directed so all my browsers find it on my laptop…

romanobstuderParticipantThe point of having a XAMPP install on my laptop is to have a complete environment to take away and work on a train / plain where no internet access is possible.
How can I get this working?BTW will be back in the office on Monday and then install X on pantheon.io (my normal dev environment).
However I will be in the offline scenario very soon again. Australia’s country train lines are more often then not off grid.May 1, 2016 at 10:09 am #907901
RupokMemberHi there,
Thanks for writing back. You could setup your site to an actual servers or use vhost for local installation as stated earlier. If you don’t have Internet connection then it won’t help you to install the extensions so there is no point of validating the site. For your local environment (without Internet), I’d suggest you to install the extensions manually. All of them are included to your themeforest download, check extensions folder.
Cheers!

DarshanaModeratorHi there,
Please check your Cornerstone version. If it is v1.2.3 or below, that error might occur (“Uh oh, we couldn’t check if this license was valid”).
Please try deleting Cornerstone and then when you head over to X Addons section, it will automatically install the latest version of Cornerstone. Then you should be able to validate your X theme.
Thanks!
