Hi,
Until recently all my Jetpack Tiled Galleries worked properly. But since recent updates of WordPress, X, Cornerstone and plugins, Tiled galleries do not show with the nice Tiled look I always liked. I have galleries on posts built with cornerstone, others built with Visual Composer. All of them do not show properly.
I tried to deactivate Envira, which I recently installed, but it didn’t help. No other Galleries plugin is installed.
All of WP components use the latest versions (WP 4.4, X 4.3, Cornerstone 1.0.11, etc.)
Example of a post on my site: rlortie.caPlease note that though I like the way Envira look, the process to add new images to a gallery is not as user friendly as Jetpack is. I have more than 4K photos in my library and all are categorized. Envira does not have a feature to use those categories. So it’s very time consuming to add an existing photo to a gallery.
Thanks for your help.
December 26, 2015 at 2:56 pm #721563Hi there,
Thanks for writing in.
How should it look like? I think this is related to recent changes in Jetpack Gallery and WordPress 4.4 and it’s a good idea to contact them.
All I could see are thumbnails that are set as landscape and portrait, thus changing each height and create layout issue. But this is Jetpack’s issue alone and not related to theme or other plugins.
Thanks.
December 26, 2015 at 4:09 pm #721612Hi,
Thanks for the quick reply! To show how it should look like, I created a test page on another site using WP 4.4 and the default theme twenty-sisteen and same version of Jetpack,; this is why I guessed it was a theme or plugin related issue.

December 26, 2015 at 7:18 pm #721740Hi there,
You’re right http://rlortie.com/testtiledgalleries/ shows bigger images (500px to 600px), while here http://rlortie.ca/2015/12/parc-national-de-pointe-pelee-ontario-2/ is just about 90 to 100px.
Though I can’t rule out yet that it’s due to X theme or cornerstone. That’s because X theme uses its own registered image sizes, and jetpack has its own too. X theme is set of templates, but jetpack doesn’t use any templates. There is no connection with any coding either.
Would you mind providing your admin login credentials in private reply? Please provide them for both http://rlortie.ca/2015/12/parc-national-de-pointe-pelee-ontario-2/ and http://rlortie.com/testtiledgalleries/
For the meantime, please try activating the X theme here http://rlortie.com/testtiledgalleries/
Thanks.

I installed X theme here http://rlortie.com/testtiledgalleries/ and the gallery still works.
The issue is probably related to your existing setup or customization. Please temporarily remove your customizations and disable all other plugins, then install a Force regenerate thumbnails and use it to regenerate your images. Then check if there is any improvement from your gallery.
If your gallery works, then the culprit is from one of them, and you can enable them one by active to see what causes it.
Thanks!
December 27, 2015 at 8:23 am #722097Hi,
You were right, I found the problem and the culprit is Enhanced Media Library Pro. Everything looks fine when I deactivate this plugin.
I opened a ticket with the author of this plugin, and hope to have this fixed asap. Thanks for your help,
ReneDecember 27, 2015 at 8:30 am #722102You’re welcome.
December 27, 2015 at 8:55 am #722112One more thing to precise the information about the plugin Enhanced Media Library (EML); there is an option in Media Settings that, when checked, fixes the display problem (but the main problem still remains). This option is:
Turn off enhanced gallery – Do not enhance WordPress native gallery shortcodeJust wanted to complete the information given in my previous post 😉
