Hi there!

I am using Essential Grid with the X-Theme and trying to achieve the option to add a link to an image when it opens in Lightbox. So for example I have a grid showing product categories, then when I press “backpacks” I get a lightbox Gallery with all backpacks. Here I would like to be able to add a link so that the visitor can click it and visit a page with more info about the backpack (a custom url)

I guess this might be more of a Essential Grid problem then X, however when I try to add a Jackbox Gallery to a page or post that option is greyed out. Any ideas why this is happening?

Regretfully, at this time I am not entirely certain what it is you would like to accomplish based on the information given in your post. If you wouldn’t mind providing us with a little more clarification on what it is you’re wanting to do (a link to a similar example site would be very helpful, or perhaps some screenshots), we’ll be happy to provide you with a response once we have a better understanding of the situation.

Well, I guess that this example shows a basic basic version of what I would like to do.

The image to the far left has a car from behind. When you click this it opens up a gallery and on the first image there is a link in the description that takes me to another site. This would do perfectly.

Or if I could add a button of some kind that would be even better.

Do you follow what I am trying to achieve?

I have one Essential Grid that displays icons for six product categories. When I press one icon a lightbox gallery opens up and I can view all images within that category. To each image I would like to ad a link that can take me to a url for more information about that specific product.

With essential grid, you might be able to make something similar by using the lightbox settings present in the essential grid. To know more this setting, please check out the documentation; http://essential.themepunch.com/documentation/#lightbox_settings
