mathijs84ParticipantHi guys,
I am trying to update http://www.damifiori.nl
Site is on 4.0.4.I did the update manually here: http://www.staging16.damifiori.nl/
Problem was in the functions.php file!
There was still some old code in the Child Theme, so when i updated, the site gave an error. I removed a lot of code under the section: x_enqueue_site_styles and then i got the updated child theme up and running! Now i still have 2 small issues remaining.
Please check the issues on this site: http://www.staging16.damifiori.nl/ and compare the live site: http://www.damifiori.nl/ for these 2 issues:1: Menu has some more width and the menu items are not in the middle of the boxes see -> http://prnt.sc/e0tpoz it should be like this -> http://prnt.sc/e0tq0f
2: On the bottem of the homepage, the play button is in the wrong position. It should be in the center of the left block! Incorrect -> http://prnt.sc/e0tqju and how it should be -> http://prnt.sc/e0tqr9
Please let me know how to adjust, so i can update the site !
thanks

Rue NelModeratorHello There,
Thanks for writing in!
#1] Please download the XCS file in X Addons > Customizer Manager from your live site. You can import this XCS file to your staging site by going to X Addons > Customizer Manager.
#2] To resolve this issue, please add the following code in the customizer, Custom > CSS
#lb-home-left-col, lb-home-right-col { position: relative; }Hope this helps. Please let us know how it goes.

mathijs84ParticipantThanks, that helped but not completely.
Issue 2 is fixed!! so i changed that to the live site!
For issue 1 I downloaded the XCS file en uploaded it to the staging site. I see the menu now looks good, but the topbar has some issues as you can see. also the menubar is a bit small
If we can fix that i think we are good!!

mathijs84ParticipantFixed it, all the empty customizer fields were filled with the term “false” what gave problems!!

Paul RModeratorHi,
I don’t see anything wrong with your topbar or your menubar being small.
This is how your site looks on my end.

Can you provide us a screenshot showing the issue.
Thanks

Rue NelModeratorHello There,
Thanks for updating in! Glad the first site is working now. Since you are using SiteGround, could you please disable the supercacher in your hosting panel? Or maybe clear your site cache in the SuperCacher. The SuperCacher is developed by SiteGround exclusively for their customers. It increases the number of hits a site can handle and boosts the website loading speed. The SuperCacher includes 4 different caching options for maximum optimization of your websites. You can access the tool by clicking on the SuperCacher icon in your cPanel.
For more information about this, please check it out here: https://www.siteground.com/tutorials/supercacher/supercacher_intro.htm
Hope this helps. Please let us know how it goes.

mathijs84ParticipantHi there
I disabled supercacher for this site. The update is now live on http://www.tom-ron.nl
The text underneath the slider doesnt seems to adjust like it did. When the second slide opens, the text under the slider is suppose to change but somehow it doesnt anymore!

LelyModeratorHi There,
Unfortunately, at this time I am not sure on how the text is supposed to change.
I did check both of this URL:
http://www.staging17.tom-ron.nl/
http://www.tom-ron.nl/
Based on you screenshot, I assume you were referring to this text: Santpoorterplein 2, Haarlem. Do you have custom code for that text to change when the second slide opens? It is not part of the slider so you have some code for that. Did we missed something here? Please clarify so we can help you better. -
