Hey guys!
I recently bought and downloaded the plugin BackupBuddy because I needed a fast and simple way to both backup my website and to migrate http://www.oldwebsite.com to http://www.newwebsite.com. I thought it would all work out, but I got an Error #4001 in “Zipping Files”.

Is this an X Theme problem? If it is, how do I fix this??? This website needs to be completely migrated within the next 15 hours 🙁

Hi there,

Thanks for writing in! Backup process doesn’t reply on a theme or plugin as it’s just supposed to backup the entire WordPress content. So it’s not an issue with X rather your environment maybe. You can ask your hosting provider for help if they could.

As I was looking further into this issue, I found a forum that helped a guy with my same problem (a forum equivalent to the X Theme but everyone knows that X Theme is the best). The developer said after choosing “Alternative Zip System” under BackupBuddy > Settings > Advanced Settings/Trouble Shooting > Zip , the full backup was able to be successfully completed. He went on to say that “While this system is currently in beta, it is especially useful with problematic backups or backups of a very large size.” (http://www.agentevolution.com/forums/topic/backup-buddy-error/)

I tried this, and my full backup worked! 🙂
