    hi there,

I have an .mp4 video that I’d like to use as the background image on a specific page (either full page or below masthead) – I’d like my page content to sit on top of it like it does with the rest of my pages:

    zuffenhaus.jkeithwalters.com

    is this possible?

my video is http://zuffenhaus.jkeithwalters.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/173.mp4 (and I wouldn’t mind the audio being included)

    Hi there,

There are two ways to achieve that.

#1 Set slider above or below masthead and add optional background video under cornerstone settings tab/slider above or below masthead settings. You can add your text as slider layer.

#2 You can also add background video to CS sections, please see the attachment.

    Hope it helps.

Thank you for the reply, I previously tried the slider route but had trouble with the content and menus moving (and losing the feel of the other pages) – so I’ll look at CS.

Can I work a single page in Cornerstone, or do I have to use it for everything once I begin?

    Hi there,

You can use Cornerstone for a particular page and use Visual Composer for another page. However, make sure not to edit those pages outside the page builder that is used to create it (that is, if you create a page using Cornerstone, you will have to edit the page using Cornerstone).

    Thanks!

I actually ended up using a plug-in called Video Background; thanks for the help!
