Hi were using X theme, integrity stack and visual composer. For the life of me I can not find either the carousel that usually comes with visual composer or one provided by X theme.
After doing some reading I found that the Ethos stack is the only stack with a carousel. My mind is completely boggled as to why X theme would put a carousel in one stack and not another. Its just another common web element like an accordions, tabs, icons, slideshows, etc.. and has absolutely nothing to do with stacks.
How can I get the visual composer carousel to work? We do not want to use X themes cornerstone. Visual Composer is a big reason why we chose X theme in the first place.
Thanks!
July 13, 2015 at 10:52 am #328679Hi There,
Sorry to hear that you are missing carousel on Integrity. However if you want to use the post carousel of Ethos in Integrity this thread might help you – https://community.theme.co//forums/topic/ethos-post-carousel-in-integrity-2/
Hope this helps.
Cheers!
July 22, 2015 at 3:22 pm #337377Hi themeco, we are not looking to use the post carousel from the ethos stack. We need the default image carousel that is provided by visual composer. It seems to be missing from the Visual Composer interface. How do we get that back?
Thanks1

July 24, 2015 at 1:44 pm #339572Ive looked at that but will that allow us to make a carousel and by carousel I mean something that shows more than 1 image at a time? not just a traditional slide show.

I also just went through dilemma for hours attempting to find the elements that attracted me to the ethos theme in the first place. I usually try to solve issues myself, but gave in at this point and checked to see if anyone else was having this issue. Yes! Now I have been launched on another path. Was looking at WP Slick Slider, why my Ethos basic setup never setup, read other similar forum conversations, and other tests of will and curiosity.

AleDecember 16, 2015 at 8:07 pm #710060Hi Ale,
Thanks for writing in! But we need you to clarify which carousel you’re looking for. Was it the VC image carousel? Please refer it here.
Or was it the Ethos carousel? You can enable it on Customizer under the Ethos tab, then turn on the Post Carousel option.
You can install Visual Composer under Addons > Extensions.
Hope it helps, Cheers!
February 2, 2016 at 3:05 pm #776697Is there a way to accomplish this carousel using Cornerstone?
February 3, 2016 at 12:32 am #777352Hi there,
Thanks for writing in!
It’s not possible to include Ethos Post Carousel via Cornerstone. It is available only for Ethos stack and can only be enabled from the Customizer.
Thank you!
March 25, 2016 at 4:03 pm #852834I just need to be able to add a simple carousel that goes through about 14 different partner’s logos, displaying up to 7 at a time at the largest screen size. What do you have that can do this, or do I need to download another plugin??
March 25, 2016 at 8:11 pm #853041Hi There,
Yes, that is the best route for now since Cornerstone has no native carousel element, yet. Download and install your favourite carousel plugin and let us know how it goes.
Thanks.
