Ok, I hope you don’t mind a follow up question.
But this will make a great difference:
I’m using breadcrumbs and it makes a huge difference for my visitors to find additional information on the same topic they’r reading about.

Im working at creating different category pages for my main topics: Cardiology, Endocrinology.

Now: Within each LARGE category, i have different SUB categories: like: Cardiology> heart attacks, heart failure ETC.

but when people visit the LARGE category site they have my nice Landmark and then all posts underneath appear in that LARGE category: they are all disorganized and difficult to tell apart from different subcategories.

Is it at all possible that when people visit a LARGE category page say for example “Endocrinology” that category page will include subcategory pages: “Diabetes” and “Thyroid Disease”, rather than all the posts in the LARGE category page?

    Or
    if this is not possible,
is there a way so that these posts that appear underneath the landmark are labeled under headings? or organized into groups?

    Hi there,

That could be possible but require custom development, I tried and I can’t make it right, maybe it needs a more complex queries. You may consult it to a developer.

    Thanks!

Hi, this is an EASY follow up question for you guys.
See the thread above. I installed this landmark code in order to expand my categories. Now I want to edit them. The site does not allow me any more than this: no Cornerstone!.
I tried to edit a post using cornerstone and transferring the code and that did not work.
What do you recommend I do to be able to edit these Landmark the same way I edit the posts?

    Hello There,

Thanks for updating in! By default only text is allowed in the category description. And by the way, Cornerstone can only be use to create a page, post or custom post type. You can not use is to edit category description, category page or any archive pages. If you want to add some html elements or even shortcodes in the category description, you will need to install 3rd party plugins such as this: https://wordpress.org/plugins/allow-html-in-category-descriptions/

Perhaps these links could help you:

Please let us know how it goes.

    Hi,

How can I convert this type of code: (what both Cornerstone and Visual Composer produce)

    “” [cs_content][cs_section parallax=”false” style=”margin: 0px;padding: 0px;”][cs_row inner_container=”true” marginless_columns=”false” style=”margin: 0px auto;padding: 0px;”][cs_column fade=”false” fade_animation=”in” fade_animation_offset=”45px” fade_duration=”750″ type=”1/1″ style=”padding: 0px;”][cs_text]Diabetes affects 8.5% of the world’s populations.”””

Into HTML? so I can insert it into my Category Description block and use it there?

    Hi There,

You can inspect your website using the Chrome Inspector and select: see as html and copy the code.

If you don´t know how to do that, please provide the original page and let us know which part you would like to have the html code.

    Hope it helps

    Joao
