    I’m trying to completely remove the colour bars from my navigation. I found CSS code to remove them in other topic posts, and it worked for the most part, but they still show up on links that have been clicked. It worked perfectly on another site I made, but this time I’m stumped.

    This is my first time using single-page navigation and a fixed-left header. Could either of those be the culprit?

    Thanks for writing in!

    You can add this under Custom > CSS in the Customizer:

    .x-navbar-fixed-left .desktop .x-nav>li>a:focus {
    box-shadow: none;
}
